Professor Taha Duri

Dr. Taha Duri is a distinguished scholar and artist holding a Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science from Pennsylvania State University. With extensive experience in healthcare facility design in New York City, he has also made significant contributions to academia, playing key roles in launching programs such as Architectural Engineering at the University of Sharjah and Interior Design at the New York Institute of Technology, Abu Dhabi Global Campus. Dr. Duri’s work has been featured in prestigious publications like The New York Times and Architectural Digest (U.S.), and he holds a position on the board of the International Institute for Advanced Studies in Systems Research and Cybernetics (IIAS). Recently, he was appointed as a member of the DITTET Conference at the University of Salamanca, Spain, focusing on ethics, technology, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the Dean of the College of Design at the American University in the Emirates, Dubai, Dr. Duri continues to shape the landscape of design education and practice.
